Luminary Leader

 “Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who dwell between the cherubim, shine forth! Restore us, O God of hosts; Cause Your face to shine, And we shall be saved!”    Psalms 80:1, 7 NKJV

Just as a leader’s sin is a leading sin, a leader’s shine or excellence is a leading excellence. With the astonishing examples of leading many characters from the darkness of this world’s wilderness to the mountain-top of exploits and excellence, followers of Jesus can be sure they have a luminary leader as their Hero. However, everyone needs faith in Jesus to get started, trading the ruinous sin for His righteousness. Thereafter, we can safely learn how to follow Jesus by looking daily on Him for guidance and living daily like Him for godliness. Unfortunately, our world is filled with loose leaders and celebrities with shading testimonies of unrighteousness, inconsistencies, and dishonesty, sometimes with the deceptive form of godliness but lacking the power of righteousness. And for Jesus to cause His face to shine over us daily as mentees, we must be resolute to learn how to look unto Him without distraction for just His own example of humility, love, meekness, and submission to the Will of God.

Best Bride

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son .” Revelation 21 : 6 - 7 NKJV By reflecting on the best activities in the passing year 2025 and its lost privileges and opportunities, the most sincere response in the assessment of human efforts is likely to be baggage. Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
