Trusted Testator

 ”Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.“ Psalms‬ ‭143‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Everyone knows that healthy and productive relationships are built on the pillar of trust. Whenever trust wears off in any relationship, there is almost nothing left on the workbench that is worth salvaging. And when the psalmist approached the Lord with the prayer “Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning”, he was solemnly approaching the presence of the Lord with deep understanding of His position as a trusted Testator. This mindset presupposes a sad reflection of his disappointing experiences with other relationships in the world. Captured vividly elsewhere, ”From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I” (Psalms‬ ‭61‬:‭2‬). Outside the Rock of Ages are twisted testators, whose promises are unreliable and self-promoting. But those who are privileged to discover the lovingkindness of the Lord and depend on His grace to walk at the centre of His revealed way are sufficiently safe from the wreckage of deception.

Best Bride

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son .” Revelation 21 : 6 - 7 NKJV By reflecting on the best activities in the passing year 2025 and its lost privileges and opportunities, the most sincere response in the assessment of human efforts is likely to be baggage. Nothing is definitely assessed as “ It is done! “ on the basis of human limitations on relationships, participation, etc. Notwithstanding, the engagement of God in all of life’s affairs always leads to the production of a transformed life, a new beginning, and somehow like the best bride. Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
