Decisive Desire

“One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If everyone is permitted to consistently review his submitted essay on life’s ambition at the elementary school, it is likely that a catalog or compendium on the challenges of life against the pursuit of the original plan will be more voluminous. Like the psalmist’s compilation of life’s challenges with the enemies and the attending fear and intimidation, the realities of life always happen to everyone’s virtualities of life, especially with futilities in the primary pursuit of God. Therefore, the psalmist presents a decisive desire that worked for him; and it promises to work for anyone who intends to promote the pursuit of God as the primary essence of life’s existence. This singular pursuit, packaged as to dwell, dress, and drill the presence of God, is free from fear and intimidation. And in all of life’s secondary pursuits (careers, relationships, and ministries), anyone who retains the dwelling, dressing, and drilling the presence of God cannot fear the provocation of the enemies.
