Spirit Sensitivity
"For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit." (Romans 8:5 NKJV)
Human senses are the natural provisions of the flesh that enabled sensitivity or response to the basic needs of the body (self). Without the absence or scarcity of the basic needs of life, human senses are equipped with the ability to drive carnal satisfaction. Unfortunately, carnal satisfaction always fall short of the standard of God, because man is made to fulfil a purpose higher than the satisfaction of personal needs. Even in times of great needs, God expects the heart of man to be sensitive to the needs of the Spirit by fellowshipping with God and others. To be carnally centered is death and troubling to self, but to be spiritually sensitive is life and pleasing to God.
