Therefore, believers’ hearts need consistent feeding on the promises of the Lord for development of courage and perseverance in moments of emotional instability. When Jesus says ‘I am the Way’ , it implies that relationship with Jesus is meant to offer the perfect wisdom of coordination in our wicked, self-centred and wayward world. That the world is broken and disconnected from the understanding of God is not news. What is always news is the righteous’ misrepresentation of the wise way in our wicked world. Therefore, God is more concerned about believers who are disconnected from the wise way than unbelievers who are creatively connected to wickedness. Like a litmus test on the character of anyone who claims a relationship with God, the challenges of life are simply the testing of this claim. Godliness demands trust in God, endures trials around God, resist temptation against God, controls tongue for God, and administers turn of people toward God.   “ Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds; For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations .” Proverbs 27 : 23 - 24 NKJV The scriptural principle of remuneration or reward places emphasis on the state of the flocks, instead of focussing on the status of the fields. While material gains and riches are generated by assessing the status of the fields, emphasis on the state of the flocks starts with (1) recognition of the attendance and good virtue in associates and subordinates; (2) reward for their attention to system operations and productivity; and (3) remuneration by their attraction to the Lord and understanding of His counsels.
