Life’s choices on family planning, career choices, business decisions, and residency at the impulse of weather, security, social, political and economic threats are just few of the many miserable motions. But whenever believers truly understand the scriptural revelation and assurance that ” God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved “, they cease to engage in miserable motions. Conversely, the birthrights of the enemies of God’s people is simply the engagement in miserable motions to generate these threats. ...

  ” For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you .“ Deuteronomy 23:14 NKJV One of my favourite scriptural references to support cleanliness in every camp-meeting’s ’Life in the Camp ’ is here focussed. The solemn lesson here teaches that a clean camp is an individual’s responsibility; and God demands even the camp commandants to encourage an enabling environment for individual’s responsibility for camp cleanliness. Why? Cleanliness enables the abiding presence of God, and keeps the camp secured against the enemies’ invasions. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions .“ Psalms ­45:6-7 In our competitive world, it is not strange why righteousness does not often coexist with gladness. It is believed that someone or some people elsewhere must pay a wicked penalty for personal derivative of gladness. Little wonder why envy, hatred, and wickedness thrive where there is no gracious production of gladness. This is where Jesus Christ exceeds all of mankind as the One acclaimed of having a sceptre of righteousness as the sceptre of His kingdom. He is the only Giver of grace or the oil of gladness with zero motivation for wickedness. His non-depleting gladness can power the entire world with righteousness, without suffering loss. Christ’s throne of righteousness is eternal; and His renewable gladness is inexhaustible...

But when hope of believers get readily deferred, future invitations from the Lord can easily become incredulous invitations. The hopeless experience of many believers is succinctly captured by the parable of the Lord on the invited guests to the great banquet. ‘Come, for all things are now ready’…But they all with one accord began to make excuses. Apparently, the invited guests all gave those excuses because of their bottled up offenses and hopelessness in the readiness of the Master. Likewise, it is very dangerous for believers...

That is why some nations are decorated with the titles of superpowers, while other nations give respect and seek protection from decorated super powers. Also, individuals have trusted in their super knowledge, influence, and authority, especially while boasting on their abilities to confront their enemies. Unfortunately, when believers who have some records of material achievements in life, professions, and ministries confront their enemies, they are not only tempted to trust in these bows…they fall into the fake trust.   ” Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding. “He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, And he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself. Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. “ ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ There appears to be a very thin line between wisdom and wickedness in our world. That’s the reason why two wrongs can never make a right. When the scripture says “ he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself ”, it exposes the faceless foolishness in falling into the trap of anger, secret hatred, and unforgiving spirit in every bit to enforce justice. Wisdom demands a careful exposure of every act of wickedness without getting entangled into unrighteousness. It is the responsibility of a wise man to accept correction from wrong doings or wickedness. Otherwise, he is simply treated as a contagious scoffer to be graciously avoided.
