Night Seasons

http://bible.us/psa16.7.nkjv I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. Every succession of days is interjected with night; but there are regions or seasons when the darkness of nights become predominant. Night seasons attract doubt and discouragement, especially when hope of brightness is dependent on fuzzy forecasts. Whereas, hope in God gives sufficient brightness even in night seasons. When the Creator of our days and nights says "Joy comes in the morning, even if weeping endure into the night", there is sufficient reason to ignore the blackness of the night. Obviously, hope in the Lord provides sufficient light and guidance during the night seasons.

Truth Tabernacle

http://bible.us/psa15.1-2.nkjv Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly,And works righteousness,And speaks the truth in his heart Until truth is established, human concepts of righteous relationship are mostly‎ based on assumption and head knowledge. Unfortunately, the heart of man get defiled by negative assumption and fallible head knowledge, when divine assistance is not solicited. Needless to mention that the truth can only be established with the assistance of God. Expectedly, the Psalmist cried unto the Lord with great burden for the presence of God in the business administration of the heart. Rather than the desire for occasional visit to the presence of God, the heart of man can actually be the holy hill of God's habitation. Therefore, the search and expression of the truth in all relationships imply the establishment of God's tabernacle in the heart.

Silent Sentence

http://bible.us/psa14.1.nkjv The fool has said in his heart,“There is no God.”They are corrupt,They have done abominable works,There is none who does good. Religious people would hardly engage in open denial of the existence of God. But as the actions of wicked men increase, the apparent silence of God is often queried. ‎No one can successfully justify the experience of evil in homes and society, until the end of wickedness is vindicated by righteousness. Unfortunately, many are often won by the resilience of unrighteousness. Wicked men are not really fools by their open declaration of foolishness. Those who are won over by the wickedness are the real fools. May God deliver His people from silent sentence of ungodly works.

Spiritual Salvation

http://bible.us/psa13.5.nkjv But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. Physical relief from oppression of the enemy is always desirable; and the possession of this world's riches goes a long way in the process of purchasing this type of salvation. King David is believed to appreciate the privilege of wealth and position in the management of his public affairs. ‎However, he was equally privileged to experience persecution and oppression from the enemy. Real life experiences clearly underscore the insecurity in physical salvation. Whereas, spiritual salvation brings inner peace that escape the pang of insecurity.

Solid Foundation

http://bible.us/psa12.6.nkjv The words of the Lord are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times. Words of men can worth a great resource towards the building of good family, business, professional and social system. However, compromise is possible when personal interests are involved. This implies that the Righteous should be careful of possible personal colouration in every human assessment. Otherwise, solid foundation will be traded for shallow foundation. The word of God is the infallible solid foundation upon which all actions of men are weighed. It is based only on pure thoughts of goodness to all who put their trust thereon. The price of patience for the word of God is incomparable to the prize of solid foundation.

Faith Foundations

http://bible.us/psa11.3.nkjv If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do? The Righteous is redeemed to relate profitably with God and the world. While profitable relationship is expected to promote peace, peaceful relationship can only be built on reliable foundation. Hollow or flash foundations include confidence in material things and on mortal men. ‎Although these foundations can promise temporal comfort and promotion, everlasting comfort and peace are better bargain from all relationships. However, the Righteous can suffer a temporary discomfort as compromise for everlasting comfort. But if the foundations of relationship are not built on things and men but God, the Righteous will do exploits. Unlike flash foundations, only faith in God can flourish in a flash of wickedness.

Godly Confidence

http://bible.us/psa10.17.nkjv Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear Self confidence is often based on the product of the prosperity of physical and material properties. ‎ While everyone needs a measure of this type of confidence, the humble can be a victim of the proud's free expression of self confidence. In order to overcome the deficiency of self confidence, the heart is submissively prepared by the Lord through the knowledge of the triumph of righteousness over wickedness. And like the Psalmist in times of trouble, many will rightly query " Why do You stand afar off, O Lord? ". However, godly confidence constantly sees the triumph of the invincible hands of God over the empty threat of visible wickedness.
