King David is believed to appreciate the privilege of wealth and position in the management of his public affairs. ‎However, he was equally privileged to experience persecution and oppression from the enemy. Real life experiences clearly underscore the insecurity in physical salvation. Whereas, spiritual salvation brings inner peace that escape the pang of insecurity.

Words of men can worth a great resource towards the building of good family, business, professional and social system. However, compromise is possible when personal interests are involved. This implies that the Righteous should be careful of possible personal colouration in every human assessment. Otherwise, solid foundation will be traded for shallow foundation. The word of God is the infallible solid foundation upon which all actions of men are weighed. It is based only on pure thoughts of goodness to all who put their trust thereon. The price of patience for the word of God is incomparable to the prize of solid foundation.

While profitable relationship is expected to promote peace, peaceful relationship can only be built on reliable foundation. Hollow or flash foundations include confidence in material things and on mortal men. ‎Although these foundations can promise temporal comfort and promotion, everlasting comfort and peace are better bargain from all relationships. However, the Righteous can suffer a temporary discomfort as compromise for everlasting comfort. But if the foundations of relationship are not built on things and men but God, the Righteous will do exploits. Unlike flash foundations, only faith in God can flourish in a flash of wickedness.

http://bible.us/psa10.17.nkjv Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear Self confidence is often based on the product of the prosperity of physical and material properties. ‎ While everyone needs a measure of this type of confidence, the humble can be a victim of the proud's free expression of self confidence. In order to overcome the deficiency of self confidence, the heart is submissively prepared by the Lord through the knowledge of the triumph of righteousness over wickedness. And like the Psalmist in times of trouble, many will rightly query " Why do You stand afar off, O Lord? ". However, godly confidence constantly sees the triumph of the invincible hands of God over the empty threat of visible wickedness.

Selah No matter the sincerity of principal effort, personal interest often beclouds ‎the sense of human fair judgment. David's personal experience with the death of the product of ungodly conception, after his sinful acts of adultery and murder, teaches that righteous judgment is the prerogative of God. The fear of the righteous God, the scripture says, is the beginning of wisdom. Acknowledgement of this basic fact prevents disagreement with authorities, whenever personal interest in life, family and ministry appears compromised. God ordained authority and expects all His subjects to treat them with godly fear.

The fortrightness of a towering ship may be appealing ‎during voyage on still waters. Speed boat will probably attract more patronage in order to quickly stir away at the onset of storm. According to the psalmist, the name of the Lord is like an anchor in the times of storm. Unfortunately, reliable strength is often compromised for unreliable speed in times of trials and tribulation. Whereas the anticipated safety is certain with trust in God's strong tower, the acquired stillness is a resourceful source of confidence for others in life's future storming sea.

There are numerous manifests of wonder work in building technology, transportation system, space activities, and the development of innovative system. As the scripture says, the earth surely is filled with knowledge...as the water covers the sea. Consequently, many are comfortable with this declaration, as long as the ownership of the human intellectual property is reserved. However, the Psalmist declaration underscores the missing link, which is the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. Whenever the declaration of the glory of the Lord become missing in any of human activities, a delusion of excellent creation is conceived.
