Wondrous Works

 “Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them. That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, And all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, Saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.” Acts 15:12, 17-18 KJV

While the scriptural context unveils the wondrous works of God towards the extension of His redemption plan to the gentile world, anyone can take away the perilous drawbacks of the wilful works in the heart. If everyone sincerely admits himself as a model of God’s works and truly believes that “known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world”, there will be no struggle with calls for absolute submission to the Will of God in all of life’s engagements. Unfortunately, the wilful works have always struggled to overturn the divine agenda in life’s relationships and affairs, breeding unnecessary conflicts and delays in project management, irreconcilable differences in marital relationships, and divisions or disunity in congregational fellowship. Whereas, as soon as the heart of man begins to shift ground for the manifestation of the wondrous works of God, the stage gets set for a daily download of God’s counsels, the revelation of His purpose for existence, and the implementation of His strategies and plans. It is absolutely impossible for anyone to experience the manifestations of God’s wondrous works, while holding unto the subtle manipulation of his wilful works.

Righteous Resolution

  “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.
