Spirit Shining

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:1-3 NKJV

Based on Apostle Paul’s admonition to the Ephesians, consecrated calling always begat spirit shining; but the rope can sometimes be too long. Being a great example of believer’s calling into the life’s emotional burden-bearing consecration, it takes the grace of God to accept a proud self-identification as the prisoner of the Lord. An unconsecrated calling is always tempted to wear its nerve on his sleeves; definitely throwing lowliness, gentleness, and long suffering into the dustbin. Whereas, as the spirit supported, you sometimes have to accept life throwing upside down to acknowledge living right side up. Even when the redeemed of the Lord can justify their life’s ugly experiences as self-inflicting, all things do readily get allowed by the spirit for the good of those who truly accept God’s consecrated calling. As after the lesson comes the living, the spirit is saying “The sons of foreigners shall build up your walls, And their kings shall minister to you; For in My wrath I struck you, But in My favor I have had mercy on you (Isaiah 60:10)”. And whenever believers endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace and love, the Spirit shines for all to see and appreciate the brightness of the glory of God.
