Saints’ Senses

“ Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.” Psalms 143 : 8 NKJV Without a deliberate spirit constraint and scriptural guidance in the morning, the lousiness from this world’s trending stories, political roundup tables, and calls for business engagement is apt to treat anyone like a robot. Anyone who can be easily predicted can be readily manipulated, says the evil conspirator in our wicked world. But thankfully, the saints of the Lord are called into a succinctness of heavenly bliss and lovingkindness every morning. The saints’ senses are totally disconnected from the buzzing of satanic manipulations of material touch, sight, taste, hearing, and smell the moment they get plugged into the realm of the spirit early in the morning. And with heavenly instruction and spiritual guidance, the righteous can readily rest in His trust in God towards walking the day’s engagem...

Great Goodness

“ For Mordecai the Jew was second to King Ahasuerus, and was great among the Jews and well received by the multitude of his brethren, seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his countrymen .” Esther 10 : 3 NKJV For anyone to correctly discern the good greatness, he must first be comfortable with the concept of great goodness. Otherwise, greatness can be very deceptive and a mismanagement of goodness in life and ministry. For those who care about scriptural guidance, Mordecai represents a commendable model of great goodness, i.e., the seeking of the good of the people, especially at the expense of personal good. Unfortunately, the human heart is wired for self-seeking, self-centredness, and self-projection, especially at the expense of sacrificing systemic good. But by God’s grace, the heart is made to trust in God for its own goodness, while being called to live and labour for the goodness of the people. Actually, like it was with Mordecai and many other saints...

Reliable Refuge

“ Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for my soul. I cried out to You, O Lord: I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.” Psalms 142 : 4 - 5 NKJV Haman had earlier boasted in his reliability on “ Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor !” (Esther 6 : 11 ) until it was discovered that the reliability of the King of kings is better. He was made to finally bow down before Mordecai, who had fatally offended him, for his uncompromising allegiance to the Creator of Heaven and earth. Since human reliability is always a game of visible dependability, it is common for anyone to put his confidence in the superiority of status, potentiality of political powers, and the wisdom of wanton wealth. Unfortunately, this carnal reliability does not often recognize the sovereignty of the heavenly King, who is capable of turning the hearts of earthly kings at will. But like the ps...

Wicked Works

“Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice wicked works With men who work iniquity; And do not let me eat of their delicacies.” Psalms 141 : 4 NKJV There is a gross difference in the import of wicked works between those perpetrated by the stack of wicked people and those executed by supposedly righteous or religious people. Wicked works by wicked people have boundaries; and only those who cross these boundaries get punished. Whereas, wicked works by the supposedly righteous or religious people require uncommon discernment for anyone to escape falling into the traps. Unfortunately, many righteous people are easily trapped into the webs of corruption, condemnations and confusion caused by the atrocity of the supposedly righteous or religious people. Therefore, when the psalmist cried “ Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice wicked works With men who work iniquity“ , he knows the true danger of hypocritical engagement into the practice of wicked works...

Watchful Works

““ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God .” Revelation 3 : 1 - 2 NKJV The difference between the dead and living works in all human engagements is the inspiration by the Spirit of the living God. Unfortunately, it takes a slight interaction with the styles, standards, and systems of the world before corruption and compromise begin to bring condemnation of believers before our righteous Judge. To always be watchful is simply to live for WATCH: that is to watch our (1) words, (2) actions, (3) tongues, (4) characters, and (5) habits always in the mirror of God’s words, attributes, testimonies, charisma, and holiness. Invariably, we must be more sensitive to the inspiration by the Spirit of the...

Sure Shield

“ Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. ” Proverbs 30 : 5 - 6 NKJV Not everyone found a liar in our system, society, and sacred places today is a practicing liar. Many people are unfortunately found liars on the basis of their lack of trust in God. From times immemorial, the primary purpose of extra-scriptural revelations, social-economic realities, and our ultra-wired realizations is the invalidation of the word of God. More often than not, God will readily allow believers to walk through the wilderness, face the fiery and stormy complications, and wait wastefully in the waters to prove those would endure the temptation of adding to His words. Unfortunately, while believers put on unnecessary emphasis on their safety and sustenance within the roller coaster of troubles and pains, they ignore the surety and sufficiency of the word of God. Whereas, irrespective of the ...

Clouds Computing

“ Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen .” Revelation 1 : 7 NKJV While the apocalypse of Jesus Christ through John the Behold presents the understanding of end-times events to the seven churches “ which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea ”, the revelation of the impending retribution is no less potent to the body of Christ today. To John the Behold of old and every believer today, believing in the clouds coming revelation necessitates our immediate response to the clouds computing reconciliation. As valid in today’s computing parlance, garbage in produces garbage out. If machines today can be trained to learn sciences, philosophy, and arts through clouds computing, believers must be awakened to take up their responsibilities to influence the hearts of the people for righteousness throu...
