Perfect People

“ The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands .” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭138‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ One of the reasons why people get freaked out by the concept of perfection is the reality of imperfection in every human’s  nature. But whenever imperfect people sincerely meet our perfect God, they become perfect people with consistent attention under the grace of God. Unlike the natural man, the nature of God is love and His nature is obsessed with the fact that a surrendered man is consistently a work-in-progress in His hands. Unfortunately, man is always disappointed with his desire to look for love in fellow men instead of focussing on God’s love. This disappointment often reveals the imperfections in man through vices that frustrate the grace of God. Whereas, perfect people understand the unsearchable mercy of God and the riches of His grace; they are consistently looking up only to God’s hands for the extensible wor...

Gracious Giving

“But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? ” ‭‭I John‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ It is easier for the materialistic and competitive world to relate prosperity with getting, but true prosperity is actually all about giving when true love is in the air. Hatred, bitterness, and malice speak more about the absence of true love than the shortage of generosity and the absence of gifts. ‘For God so love the world and He gave …’. Giving before grace is always a manipulation. The true colour of wickedness and getting will be unleashed when the manipulative motive is threatened. When the scriptures say “ But whoever has this world’s goods ”, the call to a giving lifestyle doesn’t rule anyone out. Nobody gives what has not been given to him by God. Anyone who wouldn’t give just doesn’t have the love of God to power the act of giving. Whenever we finally come to know the true love of God, we will begin to ...

Holy Hope

“ Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure .” ‭‭I John‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ When the scriptures addressed those whose real extent of their hope is the material provisions of the world as miserable, it begged an answer to the true identity of children of God. Unlike the unholy hope for material enrichment, earthly positions, and human relevance in all of human engagements, the hope of meeting the Saviour Jesus Christ physically as the Son of God and not just holding on to His sacrifice as the Son of man is transformational. If the first appearance by faith can implant the holy seed of salvation from sin and defilement in the hearts of all believers, we can only imagine the appearance of all raptured saints of God before the Son of God in Heaven. Unfortunately, not many re...

Worthwhile World

“ And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. ” ‭‭I John‬ ‭2‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ If there is nothing worthwhile in this world, the candid question from anyone would be ‘ why are we still here ?’. “ Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him ” (‭‭I John‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬). And ‘ what is the love of the Father ?’ Obviously, anyone who doesn’t ask these questions is not bothered about the worthlessness of this sinful world…and the fact that it is passing away with the lust of the flesh, eyes, and the pride in their worthless possessions. Notwithstanding, the answers to these questions for curious minds are 1. We are here to find the will of the Father, who created us for His own purpose; and 2. The love of the Father is the salvation of sinners, who are deceived to pursue their own personal will in the world. Therefore, knowing and doing the will of God in all of human eng...

Full Fellowship

“ He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked .” I John‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Fellowship and influence are common cause and effect phenomena. There cannot be true fellowship without the tested influence. And as we establish relationships with family members, workplace partners, and professional colleagues, we are necessarily impacted by their lifestyles, belief systems, and cultures until a check is placed by the  believers’ fellowship with God: Anyone who claims a full fellowship with God must be 100% influenced by Him. Unfortunately, this solemn check hasn’t gone well in almost all religious circles. Even the most religious fanatics have often claimed the form of fellowship in religious gatherings and assemblies; but people have readily questioned their will power to stand straight in difficult moments with crisis of faith. For example, when Daniel was thrown into the den of lions because of the demonstration of his full fellowship with God, even t...

Slack Salvation

“ The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. ” ‭‭II Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ In human economy, slackness is synonymous to delay and slothfulness; but in God’s economy, slackness is always counted as perfection in timing. Understandably, man would readily count slackness or delay on the basis of personal considerations for progress, promotion, and the prosperity of promises. While disappointment and the apparent shattering of dreams are common realities in life, believers with absolute faith in the promises are called to count on the irreversibility of the promises of God. Obviously, human senses may not agree with the realities of personal inconveniences on the ground, but the confidence of the righteous always aligns with the fact that there is an ultimate system good waiting to be revealed. Therefore, slackness will be slothfulness when a personal...

Delightful Deliverance

“ then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment ,” ‭‭II Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Whenever man runs out of all his self-help options, he is usually presented as a vulnerable tool of manipulation in the hands of the enemies of God. From time immemorial, man idolizes and worships any open source of deliverance. Likewise, man would readily bow down and worship the golden image of anyone who would threaten his prevailing breeze of deliverance. Invariably, Shedrach, Messach, and Abednego were uncommon men in the land of Babylon in the days of king Nebuchadnezzar, with uncommon faith in God’s delightful deliverance. And like Joshua and Caleb of old, these men knew the difference between the deceptive deliverance of this world and the delightful deliverance from the Lord. It is always true that, while we can run out on the strategy to escape the trap set by the enemies against our progress and prosperity i...
