Pure Participation

“There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭30:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.30.12.nkjv It is generally agreed that leadership failure is the bane of the lack of responsiveness in every human system. While the concept is valid for all communal, institutional, political, and family systems, the subjective composition of the concept of leadership is always inaccurate. Leadership is not an extraction of a group of people, but the ability of anyone within the system to accept responsibility towards the improvement of any system. Whether at the home-front or in the society, the blame game strategy that attend every query on system responsiveness is an evidence of a want of leadership quality. There is always something everyone can do make a positive change to any sluggish responsiveness in a system. Although the price for pure participation is not always cheap, it guarantees collective responsibility for corporate respo...

Sure Shield

“ Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. ” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭30:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.30.5.nkjv Increase of the knowledge in man, without a commensurate understanding of the plan of God for his existence and present preoccupation, exposes man to the fear and lack of confidence in the promises of God. The substantial shield of common sense in everyday decision making, based on the merit of comparative analysis, poll statistics, intelligent gathering, etc, may appear to agree easily with the elementary faith in the God of success and prosperity. However, these basic decision making tools become irrelevant when absolute faith in the purpose and plan for the future is required. The expected shield is not based the type of faith that places emphasis on the destination of faith, more than the ' steps ' and ' stops ' along the journey of faith. Confidence in every word of God is all that is needed for anyone to accept the reco...

Sincere Submission

“Correct your son, and he will give you rest; Yes, he will give delight to your soul.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.29.17.nkjv Those who have ever experienced the pretence of disowning an herring son or acquaintance would probably attest to the inseparable affinity between a son and their souls. There appears to be a permanent register created in the soul and occupied by every son and all acquaintances that are inhabited within the sphere of anyone's influence. Invariably, the correction of the son turns out to be the maintenance of own soul, through every submission to the counsel of the Lord. Little wonder, those who have succeeded in the business of parenting will always be grateful to God for the privilege of personal transformation, made possible by their willingness to accept God's correction before offering an effective correction of others within their sphere of influence. And if everyone knows that every son is in the parent's soul, God...

Crystallized Character

“The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, And a man is valued by what others say of him.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.27.21.nkjv ' Character shines clearly, even in the dark ', says the old adage. Just like the refinement of silver and gold, the environment of heat from the furnace of economic recession, financial hardship, intense persecution, family and marital challenges, etc, merely assist in the clarification of the quality of a man's character. This implies that challenges crystallize character rather than cover it up. It is possible to present a fight for the battle of life with media manipulation rather than character transformation, but true story of life is always told when there is no longer means for media manipulation. Therefore, a purpose-driven life is focused on projects for exploits making, instead of excuse manufacturing. People value what is achieved, irrespective of the discouraging circumstances, more than wha...

Desirable Diplomacy

“He who hates, disguises it with his lips, And lays up deceit within himself;” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭26:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.26.24.nkjv Lying lips and deceitful hearts communicate clearly with understanding. Even when the scriptures say no one is able to unravel the deceit and wickedness in his own heart, the demand for courtesy and diplomacy in public relations appears to offer the necessary litmus test for the possible reality of hatred in the heart. Closed lips can cleverly bottle-up hatred and consciously disguise a wicked heart as a disposition of winsome humility. However, a sincere soul cannot deceive himself, even when his lips disguised hatred with a desirable diplomacy. Therefore, the clarity in the communication between a lying lip and a deceitful heart confirms the candidacy of hell for any unrepentant soul.

Destructive Delusion

“Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭26:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.26.12.nkjv The scriptures declare that the earth is filled with the abundance of useful knowledge, as the water covers the sea. And a productive engagement with these abundant provisions, through progressive interaction with various opportunities in life, including continuous education, consistent enlightenment, cooperative enlistment, etc, represents the relevant design for the use of time. While a fool denies the existence of these opportunities for better life, a lazy man basically waste these opportunities with disengagement on the concept of his self-reliance. Sometimes, it is easier to jettison the drive towards improvement in the pursuits of better life, especially when there is no interest towards the satisfaction of others beside self. However, God created everyone for a definite purpose; and He makes available all needed resources and op...

Dross Dropping

“Take away the dross from silver, And it will go to the silversmith for jewelry.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭25:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ http://bible.com/114/pro.25.4.nkjv Low melting point materials represent the natural attraction for dross; but the relevance of silver also suffer in the possible association with dross. Unfortunately, the silversmith is not often interested in a dedicated working on dross-rich silver. Likewise, God demands a self-removal of dross (pride, personal preferences, prayer-needlessness), that attract itself to all His potential servants. This attraction lead to unproductive services, and lack of positioning for divine enablement. Pride abuses the provision of grace, personal preferences misuses the purpose of grace, while prayer-needlessness disuses the privileges of grace in the life of believers. Meanwhile, God's grace appeared for a complete dedication to the glory of God. " Lord, spare me the heat of thy Spirit today, and help rid me of the dross " remains the sob...
