Until the corruption due to the fall of man, the testimony of God for all the works of His hands is ' they are good '. Man was good is in all expressions and manifestations as the image of God; that is, man was a reflection of the love, kindness and holiness of God. Despite the perfect redemption plan of God, the riches of grace requires consistent refreshment by the Spirit of God. Man is often deceived by the riches of this world's polluted sophistication and social influence. Like the Psalmist cried, everyone needs God's revival to be awaken unto righteousness. Evidently, the grace of God is sufficient to clean the filthy heart of man and keep him clean. Only the redemption riches can sustain the testimony of God concerning the work of His hands.

Speed bumpers always appear serious distractions to travellers on life's highway, especially when the highway suddenly lead to cities with interconnection of activities that need the attention of way-faring travellers. Likewise, life moves often faster than the attention of anyone can easily catch, without intermittent pull-over to the learning lane. While it is strange for anyone to smile for taking a speed ticket, everyone always learn how to improve on safe-driving skills with correction on traffic offence. Even when we did not understand the basis for some setbacks in life, those who know their God can rightly say like the Psalmist ' It is good for me that I have been afflicted '. All setbacks represent disguised setup for the fulfillment of God's purpose for a divine pull-over to the learning lane.

Whenever anyone lose the ‎grip of his operating environment, he becomes susceptible to the mercy of his dominating environment. Unfortunately, there are disappointing fear and afflictions when situations in life, especially in family, career and health, are thrown outside anyone's personal control. Comfort in material support in times of afflictions appears to provide a great relief; it cannot be a sustainable relief from future challenges. There is a greater comfort in an absolute confidence in the word of God, even when an end to life's challenges appear out of sight. Nothing more appears a gain of life's intelligence than the loss of influence by life's challenges.

http://bible.us/psa119.43.nkjv And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, For I have hoped in Your ordinances. Intelligence is a wonderful endowment upon humanity, capable of singling anyone committed to its development out for distinction. Howbeit, not everyone is patient enough to wait for natural distinction. The common game is always the ability to outshine others through intelligent impressions (not immersion). Whether through public speaking, social gathering or private conversation, the game often invites skillful use of words of exaggeration, jesting, and fantasy all in desperation for image laundry. Unfortunately, public fame with little regards for godliness takes the word of truth out of the mouth. Obviously, the Psalmist' prayer provides the way out. Only scriptural intimacy enjoys daily interactions with the throne of grace for all-natural inspired impressions.

In line with the natural law of motion, consistent focus on the wonderful works, way and will of God will maintain a perpetual course unless strategic distractions are encouraged. Every affair and engagement in life either add or remove from the worth of human life and godliness. Unfortunately, many are helpless when faced with the temptation to buy into the ' it doesn't matter ' exposure into pornographic pictures, scenes, and movies. Once bitten by unguarded looks, king David understands the importance of seeking the help of God in order to maintain focus on the path of righteousness. Whenever passion for the things of God is reducing, affection for worthless things is probably introducing.

The profitability of God's word is not in the hearing of the precepts, but in the doing of the word. Hearers have the word in the head and can even be proficient in the dissemination of the commandment, precepts by precepts. ‎However, the additional commitment of applying the truth to the practical works of life, like the relationship with work, in the family, and unto church people, may be impossible. Like the Psalmist' s plead for grace, a humble cry for grace to see the way of God's precepts in one's personal interactions is important. The revelation of the wonderful works of God in every personal endeavour is open to those whose hearts are open to His precepts.

The way of every man is often open with many options, leaving anyone with the challenge of choosing the best path or the right sequence of paths. There are compendium of earthly resources for effective management of the challenges of life, including family, marital, business, social, professional issues, etc. The only problem with earthly principles of success is that they are based on inconsistent breakthrough in a limited space of time. As time, events, and experiences of life change, earthly principles become inappropriate and mostly counter-productive. The Psalmist presents the immeasurable riches of God's word as the only dependable guide along life's weary way. Anyone with a sincere search for the principles of success is directed to always look along the precept of God's word.
