People's Praise

http://bible.us/psa67.5-6.nkjv Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. ‎ Naturally, praise proceeds as the product of tangible blessing. Praise is mostly an evidence of people's prosperity. However, the Psalmist encourages the living to praise God, in order to provoke the launching of His blessing. Invariably, praising God for His preservation attracts the expected prosperity in the life of those believe in the salvation of God. Only those who have been silenced by sickness and death are actually restrained from praise and worship. Even when dreams appear dead, the living of the dreamer deserves praises to the God, who knows that life is superior to dreams. Therefore, the righteous readily know that he lives among the people primarily to praise God. ‎

Fruitful Fulfillment

http://bible.us/psa66.12.nkjv You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment. One of the precious benefits of fruitful fellowship in times of the trials of life is the building of strong and priceless character. And in the absence of this fellowship, most homes and ministries have suffered the misfortune of untested leadership. Even with limited records of flashy accomplishments in all of human engagements, as possible experiences so far in the outgoing year, many will be tempted to declare their fulfillments as fruitless. Whereas the building of strong character and the deposit of the riches of grace, which are mostly inaccessible to flashy lifestyles, represent enormous achievement in God's management of precious resources. Irrespective of the absence of flashy accomplishments, the presence of God with the righteous is always a fruitful fulfillment.

Gracious Goodness

http://bible.us/psa65.4.nkjv Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple. The season of reflection on all the goodness received from the beginning of the year is here again. Whether directly or indirectly, the common experience is the possible expression of unhappiness with state of affairs of certain elements around individual's career, family, business ‎and relationships. Whereas, God is equally unsatisfied with the unreadiness of man to receive the fullness of His available blessings. It implies that God's generosity, by His indulgence of man's sluggish approach into the sweetness His presence, suggests greater goodness. Beyond the desired external fixes in man's life issues, the Psalmist has learnt the blessedness of the sacred romance between man and God; whereby man can approach God intimately. Therefore, every soul that get released from li...

Bitter Bargain

"The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory." (Psalms 64:10 NKJV) In the world's gladness market, bidders are faced with the frustrating challenge of gaining control over the volatile trend of gladness. Every trading for gladness must forcefully sow sorrow in the life of others. Unfortunately, there is no rest for the wicked who delight in injecting bitterness in the affairs of others, while in a fruitless search for personal gladness and fulfilment. But for the righteous, who are fortunate to avoid concious or unconcious induction into the bitter bargain system of the world, the Lord gives grace and glory in excahnge for every arrow of the wicked. David had tasted the reward system of the Lord, and he encourages the righteous to trust in the Lord. No one wins on the floor of bitter bargain; but everyone wins in the fellowship of righteous bargain.

Precious Praise

http://bible.us/psa63.1.nkjv O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. Praises within the company of wealth and wellness are comely for all who believe in the existence of God. But until praises remain consistent without the company of wealth and wellness, it would be difficult to ascertain the focus of worship, either God and His righteousness or the promised wealth and wellness. Unlike David, most people would readily deny the existence of God, if wealth and wellness is replaced with wilderness experiences. The fact remains that any babe could praise when milk is readily in the mouth; but only those who are grown up in their intimate relationship with God would appreciate the preciousness of praise without milk.‎ Therefore, the soul of anyone whose flesh thirsts more for earthly refreshments than heavenly riches cannot offer precious praise.

Gracious Glory

http://bible.us/psa62.7.nkjv In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God. In human economy, deliverance is often traded‎ with dignity. Whenever a man with appreciable honour and position claim the glory for any gift offer, the taker of the offer is prepared to giveaway his self worth. Whereas, God's glory cannot appreciate by man's appreciation. Rather, man's glory will only appreciate by his appreciation of God's glory. Little wonder, the Psalmist felt delighted to wait patiently for the salvation of God. Therefore, every alternative offer can pretend to provide a quick fix in place of God's offer of salvation, strength and subsistence. However, God's time provides the best quality offering with the combination of grace and glory. Unlike man's grace that takes glory, God's grace gives glory.

Extreme Experiences

http://bible.us/psa61.2.nkjv From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Normal experiences of difficulties and challenges in relationships and life issues leave room for the possibility of finding solution. Beyond human efforts to finding solution to these experiences, people of f‎aith are open to divine intervention. In most cases, the dignity of anyone who is faced with challenges, within the reach of any source of encouragement, is restored. But when subjected to extreme experiences, the damage to dignity suddenly appears overwhelming; and all hope for restoration disappears. Unlike most people under extreme experiences, the Psalmist reveals the secret of a blissful restoration of trust in the tabernacle of the Lord: cry unto the Lord . Confidence and trust in God, as a dependable refuge for those under extreme family, health, and career challenges, will remain vague until the heart can pulse to cry unto th...
