Being Still

http://bible.us/psa46.10.nkjv Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The avalanche of troubles in life often present man with the consideration of focussing on self; while heaven is mostly concern about the glory of God. Man is always a spectator in the battle of supremacy on earth, if man is safely connected to heaven by the free stream of God's grace. Since God offers believers with both the defensive and offensive strength, there is always no cause for alarm. Unfortunately, man's reactionary reflexes exhibit the innate proud nature, pushing self into the uninvited battle ring. When God says " Be Still ", He meant " Watch me fight for both you and my glory ".‎

Holy Hill

http://bible.us/psa43.3.nkjv Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.‎ Personal searchlight is immensely relevant for path navigation through the region of outer darkness. The directional beam provides sufficient guide, regardless of the large uncovered ‎region outside the beam. The fact that the person holding the searchlight is probably left in darkness, as long as the path is focused with the personal searchlight, will normally raise little or no concern‎. Unlike personal searchlight, God's word searches the way, with the thought and the intents of the heart. The beaming of the searchlight on a ill-fated path leads anyone to nowhere, other than destruction. While personal searchlight indulges the flesh and respects the personality of man, the priority of divine searchlight is the leading of the soul to the holy hill of God.

Indefinite Hope

http://bible.us/psa42.11.nkjv Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God. The relevance of a Deliverer is appreciated, only after a session of total deliverance. Prior to this time, the soul is subjected to a season of great despair. Hope in deliverance is depressive with indefinite suspense, especially when situation and circumstances remain negative and discouraging. It is not the making of promises that matter to the soul, but the fulfillment of the promises. The Psalmist had a running battle with a discouraged and disquieted soul, until it is challenged to put its hope in the right perspective. Hope in the promises of God may not be sustainable; but hope in the Promise Maker surely does. The Promise Maker is an incredible Helper with definite records of faithfulness to many accounts of indefinite hope.

Designated Deliverance

http://bible.us/psa41.1.nkjv Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. Experience with poverty is always resourceful toward the understanding of the plight of the poor.‎ Although the feeling of deliverance from ‎penury for those who experienced a change of status is great, the focus of divine blessing is mostly centered on those who participated in the deliverance service provision. Heaven is loaded with tremendous riches, both material and spiritual resources; but many recruits into the distribution service are easily distracted by self considerations. Resources at service depots are not really useful, until effective distribution to end-users is implemented. Actually, many who shut the gate for designated deliverance often close the gate for divine intervention in time of trouble.

Totally Surrendered

http://bible.us/psa40.7-8.nkjv Then I said, “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart." ‎ The will of man controls his purpose in life, as well as drives the presentation of his personality. There is always a sense of pride and accomplishments in any man's ability to determine the dynamics of family affairs, social relationships, and system setup. And failure to always have one's way will normally result in frustration and free fight. Until man submit to the will of God, man struggles to retain ownership of the script, detailing his inspiration and accommodation. Whereas, God's script for every life is not only superior, it guarantees rest from inner struggle and agitation. A totally surrendered will lays down man's unreliable script for God's reliable script. ‎

Life's Worth

http://bible.us/psa39.5.nkjv Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths, And my age is as nothing before You; Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah Life's performances within the numbers of days and years is finite; but assessment in terms of impact may be somewhat indefinite. Acts of goodness and generosity are generally accepted as the best measure of the essence of life's existence. Unfortunately, an effective management of good gestures is mostly a complex phenomenon, depending on the relationship. The reality is that life's worth is not determined by human acts of goodness; but by God's action of grace. Grace provokes the relevance of life's existence, and enables its productivity. Just as David's comparison of life as a vapour, life's worth in human breadth is traceless in the air; but the trace of grace in life is eternal in its worth.

Depressed Heart

http://bible.us/psa38.9.nkjv Lord, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You. Hearts remain organized as long as the ability to focus on needs and the available sources of supply is intact. Unfortunately, certain problems and challenges drive some people into a state where the heart becomes disorganized. For a man that once defiled the height and might of Goliath to get the memory of his desire in life lost, it shows the vulnerability of man's falling into the state of depression. When many in this kind of state cover up by contemplating suicide, David prayed unto the Lord, even though he was unable to articulate his needs. After all, God knows the needs of his people, even before they ask. He is often interested in our attention, rather than the organized articulation. Although the desire of a depressed heart is open before the Lord, only the openness of heart to the Lord's desire brings recovery and restoration.
