http://bible.us/psa31.14.nkjv But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” Those who behold the reckless manipulation of ' smart ' people, through slander, back-bitting and all forms of evil speaking, are easily tempted to put their trust in self-manipulation. Instead of buying the distractions through outward display of recklessness, the Psalmist could see the inward fear of insecurity within the ' smart ' folks, camouflaged with all forms of unrighteous manipulations. When the scripture says that the Righteous are as bold as a lion, the boldness is based on their trust in a strong Fortress, outside self. Sincerely, trust in human ability and capabilities is hollow, requiring a stressful proof of strength through reckless manipulation. Whereas, absolute trust in the Lord as a strong Fortress brings an unperturbed peace of mind.

http://bible.us/psa30.3.nkjv O Lord, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Joy in the morning is not full and free without a moment of weeping in the night. As evident from the Psalmist's dedication ceremony after the completion of the king's palace, no celebration is sweet‎ without a clear record of wilderness experience. Grave experiences kill dreams and aspirations for breakthrough in life, while man remains as walking corpse passing through life without purpose. David was kept alive, even after prophesying his personal defeat and death by the enemy, in one of his moments of grave. Although the the enemy's concept of grave is a transition to the pit, the Lord's concept of grave is actually a transition to the palace.

One of the characters of God is easily understood through His unmistakable charisma of peace that endure in all seasons of life. The Lord is clearly unchangeable, unmovable, and indeposable; being evident through all the motions that works against His supremacy. This charisma demonstrates that genuine peace is only evident in all unsettled environment and contrary circumstances. Often times, the removal of troubles and pain is desired as the condition for an evidence of peace. Rather, God's peace is the perfect presentation of Himself, mostly wrapped within the torrents of trials and tribulation. Unfortunately, many who desire the type of peace without the God of peace are evidently uncomfortable with the face of God, as long as the winds of life blow hard against them. http://bible.us/psa28.7.nkjv The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him. The movers and shakers of our world acquired great strength and shield through the accumulation of earthly resources. Therefore, the head naturally trusted in those who have been declared successful. After all, ‎a disrespect for the success of others often has grave consequences on anyone's provisions and protection in life. However, those who truly know God will not take an head trust in man beyond limit. As the handiwork of God, human assistance is a subset of divine assistance. And just as the heart coordinates the head, a heart trust in God superintends the head trust in man. Otherwise, man is left disappointed when help may mean either life or death. Divine assistance is guaranteed when the heart acknowledges the Lord as its true strength and shield in all circumstances of life.

Life in the kingdom of God's children is almost reduced to a battleground, where saints are awash with the primary purpose of living to seek deliverance from the 'mighty' enemy of their souls. Unfortunately, people that wag striking testimonies of victory of the enemy never live to enjoy their dominion, due to the overbearing search ‎for power to outsmart the wiles of the wicked. This wilderness-in-the-palace experience appears the default fallout of God's anointing on the Psalmist, until he found a renewed purpose for living: searching for righteousness. The dwelling place of God is all about righteousness. And a new life in Christ offers the privilege of this precious hidden place, where deliverance over of the enemy is guaranteed, even before the fight...

The prayer of the Psalmist reveals the insufficiency of self-examination.‎ If good intentions had been sufficient, the desire for godly investigation would have been unnecessary. The heart of any good man can play good whenever it is goodly-conditioned. But no good man can accurately predict the response of his heart, prior to its examination in trying times. For example, a good heart understands the value of humility; but it is not necessarily a humble heart, until it is proven with humiliation. The song of trust and obedience to God is appreciated by a good heart in times of great supply; but only a faithful heart can be patient with God in times of unpleasant deprivation. Whereas, the interest of divine investigation is not the provocation of a good heart. Actually, divine investigation helps with the preservation of purity in the heart.‎

The activities of men in position of authority often bring fear and oppression, not only to ‎the crooked people in the workplace and society, but also to the contract-keeping people. Unfortunately, the fear of man brings further enslavement into unrighteousness and possible hatred in the heart. Whereas, every contract arrangement with man can actually accommodate the faultless covenant relationship with God. For example, God's covenant of love is workable under the jurisdiction of human labour‎ laws, social services, family relationships and all partnerships. While the fear of man is justifiable to unrighteous men, the Righteous can enjoy God's Providence without the slavish fear. Actually, Divine Providence covers the activities of those who only fear the Lord and keep His covenant.
