The fear of the righteous God, the scripture says, is the beginning of wisdom. Acknowledgement of this basic fact prevents disagreement with authorities, whenever personal interest in life, family and ministry appears compromised. God ordained authority and expects all His subjects to treat them with godly fear.

The fortrightness of a towering ship may be appealing ‎during voyage on still waters. Speed boat will probably attract more patronage in order to quickly stir away at the onset of storm. According to the psalmist, the name of the Lord is like an anchor in the times of storm. Unfortunately, reliable strength is often compromised for unreliable speed in times of trials and tribulation. Whereas the anticipated safety is certain with trust in God's strong tower, the acquired stillness is a resourceful source of confidence for others in life's future storming sea.

There are numerous manifests of wonder work in building technology, transportation system, space activities, and the development of innovative system. As the scripture says, the earth surely is filled with knowledge...as the water covers the sea. Consequently, many are comfortable with this declaration, as long as the ownership of the human intellectual property is reserved. However, the Psalmist declaration underscores the missing link, which is the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. Whenever the declaration of the glory of the Lord become missing in any of human activities, a delusion of excellent creation is conceived.

Whereas, the scope of personal battles in life is often unknown; and suspicious drives are mostly wasteful, if not destructive. Nevertheless, the Righteous operates a vulnerable heart with total faith for divine intervention in all his interactions and business engagement.

The soul of man cannot resist evil by its moral uprightness. No sooner David realized the weakness of his morality ‎that he discovered the strength of God's grace. Ignorance of the strength of the grace of God keeps the invasion of sin and the workers of iniquity alive. It is not possible to expect freedom from unrighteousness on the merit of workers of iniquity. Genuine repentance with godly sorrow terminates contract with sin on the basis of the mercy of God alone.

The state of the mind in the morning is always based on the status of rest over the night. Whenever rest is disturbed by fear and anxiety over the threat from the Destroyer, there are little option for the mind. In spite of the manifestation of the charisma of the Destroyer over family, work, and social relationships, the character of the Defender of the righteous is dependable. Confidence that lead the faithful to the prayer mountain can be easily destroyed by unyielding challenge out of the mountain. When confidence in God is clear, communication with heaven becomes a necessary bail-in lifestyle rather than a needful bail-out lifeline.

Irrespective of its nature, whether social or economic, ‎the threat of insecurity can bring distress, disappointment and death. Although king David was in great distress from social insecurity, he had the inner peace that was undisturbed by external threat. It implies that external and material prosperity cannot guarantee inner peace. No wonder the richest man on earth identified wealth and affluence as vanity. Assuredly, perfect peace comes from God alone.
