Worthy Wrath

"...and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!" (Revelation 6:16 NKJV) The scripture teaches that the wrath of man does not bring the righteousness of God. The only permissive wrath comes at the end of time, known as the wrath of the Lamb. Unlike the wrath of man, the wrath of the Lamb establishes the righteousness of God. All those who ignore the message of salvation, including the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, will not be able to endure the wrath of the Lamb. The surrendering of the life of sin to the Saviour for salvation often appear as idle wish to many who seem to have the control over the wealth of this life. Actually, there is nothing more idle to the avoidable wish for mountains and rocks to fall and hide the unregenerated souls from the wrath of the Lamb.

Worthy Lamb

"And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”" (Revelation 5:13 NKJV) Once upon a time, the sacred Lamb came unto His own people; but He was rejected. Therefore, the scripture says that power was given to only those who received Him to become children of God. But all creature, which is in heaven and on the earth (that is, regenerated and unregenerated), shall soon declare the worthiness of the Lamb to receive blessing and honour and glory and power forever and ever. Unfortunately, this declaration will be too late to deliver every unregenerated soul from the judgment of God and the eternal doom of the ungodly. Wisdom demands the declaration of the worthiness of the Lamb while grace is available to save the soul from sin.

Worthy Worship

“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” (Revelation 4:11 NKJV) The first creation and regeneration are two types of creation, purposely contemplated for the worship of the Creator. While the former depicts natural creation, the latter refers to spiritual creation. However, the archenemy of the soul of man has sworn the essence of his existence on the resistance of the worship of God. Even the redeemed of the Lord are often distracted from the primary purpose of their regeneration. Fortunately, the present resistance within human desire to offer glory and honour will cease at the future assembly at the throne of God. God is worthy to receive glory and honour and power to be worshipped day and night and throughout all eternity.

Open Door

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20 NKJV) Security consciousness recommends the use of control doors for screening of guests. Even a good guest may be denied access, if access is requested at inconvenient periods. The Laodecean church readily boost about their access to material riches, without counting the cost of the use of control door against the influence of the Spirit of God. The door of the heart is truly when access in both directions (man to God and God to man) is unrestricted.

Patience Power

"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." (Revelation 3:10 NKJV) Speed is one of the most important parameters that controls the reliability of any technological advancement. This is because time is of great essence when tackling most challenges of life, especially when man is confident of being in charge of the control room. Unfortunately, trials and temptations respond differently with the sophistication of methods and machinery. In such cases, deploring patience with ascent to the presence of God becomes the most importance power to peace of mind. Invariably, patience can give away space in order to retain peace within, which turns out to be the weapon no one can do without.

Stage Performance

"Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God." (Revelation 3:2 NKJV) The people in the entertainment industry are specialists in make-belief performances. Whereas in real life, everyone knows that all scripted actions does not necessarily reflect the real character of the actors. Unfortunately, the acting good character lifestyle in day-to-day activities often dominate life's social interactions and services. Most members of the church in Sardis, who became experts in acting lifely names in deadly norms, are warned about the danger of facing God's judgment in self-deceit. Like stage performances, the context of our testimonies is not always a reflection of the content in our temple.

Security Screening

"Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols." (Revelation 2:20 NKJV) The spiritual arena for the display of engagement into the service of the Lord can be easily filled with volunteers. Like a free arena, the Church in Thyatira was filled with performers, having great performances. Whereas, a porous passage has permitted the introduction of sexual immorality, through Jezebel - a fake prophetess. While growth in the numerical strength of any fellowship through a volunteer service offering is encouraging, the consequence of a porous passage is devastating. A pulpit controlled by sexual seduction is unsafe for all members on the pew. Compromise in the security screening of a volunteer exposes innocent victims in the church to the gate of hell.
