Channel of Blessing

“ And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates, may come and eat and be satisfied, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do .” (Deuteronomy 14:29 NKJV) While worry about the expected status of allocation is common, working on the state of our location is uncommon. Every location may be deficient in some specific allocation of resources; but all locations should be self-sufficient with selfless distribution. It is easy to be carried away by needs, while we ought to focus on feed. Needs may not be met until the unproductive platform is released to feed others within the location. Our chatter of bitterness may actually be a channel of blessing unexplored.

Righteous Walk

“ You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him .” (Deuteronomy 13:4 NKJV) Appreciation of efforts in voice recognition without decisive interest in walk consideration will likely lead to unrighteousness. The talk must match the walk in order for work to proceed with godly achievements. Voices can produce endless list of accomplishments without godly character. And a speechless walk can propagate a loud legacy that outlives the walker. However, out of all the voices seeking our attention, only the one whose walk is laid with the fear of the Lord merits our commitments. (Context: Deuteronomy 13:1-18)

Olive Tree

" But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever". As a green olive tree, it does not matter the severity of the weather, the magnitude of the storm, and the heat of the sun, my root in the house of God is my unwavering stay. Through it all, I have learnt to trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. Don't just go up to the house of God, make sure that He is your only trust and stay.

Absolute Submission

God will not demand submission from anyone; He only expects all who desire to know His ways to put their trust in Him. Many do crave to know God's way without the willingness to absolutely surrender. Absolute submission means "letting down the guards in order to trust only in God". Only the meek can do that; for "The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach His way". In every relationship where submission is being demanded, there is enough evidence that all parties involved are guilty of the same sin. Absolute submission teaches every party to focus on obeying and following every of God's revealed will and ways, no matter the level of distraction from any other parties. For "what man is he that feareth the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way that He shall choose".

Strange Prosperity

Prosperity is commonly accepted as a thriving condition, depending on the yardstick: finance, health, social, spiritual, etc. What is generally undesirable is the trying moments before the common wellness. These moments may be full of pain, but they determine the quality of joy thereafter. And every acknowledgement and acceptance of the pain portion produces the desirable quality of joy, peace, faith, and maturity. This strange prosperity is expedient for those who would manage success for the glory of God. Needless to say that pain represents a strange investment towards the strange prosperity. For many are prone to waste the investment in pain, finding someone or something to blame for their predicaments. The secret of success must be clear: hidden prosperity precedes celebrated prosperity.

Great Confusion

Death appears a great equalizer for a life deep in grief; it is a deceptive escape route and a sign of great confusion. Many have been deceived to commit suicide, not knowing that early grave is the perfection of demonic scheme of robbing the Giver of life the glory that He deserves over them. At the inception of the grief of Job, the man from the land of Uz, he clearly stated and maintained '' Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity? ''. The sincerity of His submission is profound. However, the great deception here is that although God does permit evil, He is not the author of evil. Infact, He permits adversity for good to shine out. When evil comes, let the righteous learn how to submit and wait patiently with the Giver of life. No one can boost to know the reason why evil is permitted in life. The only relieve during pain comes from the peace that God gives. Good cannot prevail after life is cut short. And there is no hope of any relie...

Rod of Correction

A word of wisdom says that only a matured man looks back when he falls; a child simply stands up and continue running. And that is the reason why it is natural to expect safety counsels and good judgement with wealth of life experiences. Unfortunately, many keeps falling without growing up, simply because it is cheaper to transfer aggression; instead of acknowledging and accepting the resources for growth in all failed experiences. Behind every agent of disappointments lies the Chief Corrector crying ..." Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked? ". But, as long as man only sees the agent that hold the rod, but not the one who has appointed it, he cannot benefit from God's investment in the rod of correction.
