The acceptance of the responsibility to manage resources begins with the acknowledgment of the existence of those resources. But the manager is always prepared before the resources is visibly made available. Therefore, a responsible manager is motivated by inner insight to get ready for opportunities. While some wonder why no opportunity comes their way; they failed to realize their failure to be prepared for the arrival of opportunity. Unprepared hand is blind to numerous opportunities; and rather would complain about the opportunities as stumbling blocks. It is however necessary to underscore the place of faith in resource management. Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau by faith; thereby transferring the baton of faith in God down the generation lane. No wonder the covenant relation between God and Abraham was consistent as between God and Jacob. A sincere journey of faith results in a twist of desire. The relationship that started with a desire for the property of God, would have grown to the desire for the person of God. No fulfilment in either the physical or spiritual things, here below, can remove the passion for the place where God lives. " Keep what you've got in your hands, and let's get going... ", becomes the axiom of heroes of faith. "That they did not receive these promises before they died?". "But rather, it was their expectations that got changed; and God was pleased to accommodate them". Heaven, not earth, is the final destination of a journey of faith. NO matter the glamour of the things on earth, the heroes of faith know that their glories are transient. Faith retains the clamour for God; it is the thread that connects the heart of man with God. It is the baby-sitter that keeps man busy on earth, until the face of God is seen. Oh, that we may really have faith in God.

The essence of assessment is the retaining of acceptable standards in any organized system. All systems of life, including education, health, recreation, government, sport, etc, cannot sustain a carefully defined standard if unbiased assessment procedures are not encouraged. Anonymously, death is expected for any nonagenarian couple rather than child bearing. Instead of accepting the popular assessment, Sarah trusted in the promise of God for a child; and She had Isaac in her nineties, according to God's assessment. God owns the final assessment for all His creatures; and his assessment is not subject to revision. With faith, all of God's children can wait to see how all other assessments will come to converge at the unchangeable assessment of God. The prevailing assessments in family, life, ministry, and profession may be contrary to the received promise of God; they have no hold on God's final assessment. Keep faith, beloved; and wait for the end - it is always good.

The world and all its consisting systems are subject to change, no matter how strongly resisted. Many strong kingdoms have risen with strong dominion; and have also fallen to everyone's amazement. But people have yielded to these movable elements as though they were immovable. The movables regulate the affairs of many people; predict their social-economic trends in business and governance; and formulate many family's lifestyles. And these are the essence of instability, as long as life is governed by the movable fashions and forces of the world. The accounts of Noah and Abraham revealed that these men were not moved by the movable. Their stays were secured in the immovable Potentate. Noah was moved by the revelation of the immovable; while Abraham was moved by His relationship with the Almighty God. God and His words are immovable. Fear and faith are two opposing expressions of emotion, possibly in response to the same event. Every event in life create a tangible handle in the mind of the handler, who must respond either with fear or faith. Although some may prefer to use hope or positive-thinking in place of faith , it is important to understand that a single event can produce two opposing reflects in people. The tangible handle from all events in life is created by the handler, and not the sequence of the event. Therefore, responses to events only review the make of the handler and not the true sense in the event. A devotion to the Controller of all life's events is the source of faith. The scriptures (bible) provide resources for building a life of faith; where a sincere and intimate relationship with God can be developed. The scene at the Garden in the beginning was quiet. The first half of Man was separated from his second half, apparently for liberality of idealism, and lack of total submission to the counsel of a friendly God. Then the lonely enemy finds the weaker spot of prey in the second half; and the end was the fall of the total Man. The experience of the fall was devastating on all of God's creation. The Creator also was not spared. For the Son of God had to be sacrificed for atonement. That Man may be free from the captivity of sin and Satan.
