Freedom from danger and treat is good, but the world cannot guarantee this provision for anyone. Many plans for development and advancement have been truncated because of the risk involved. Although strategic planning and risk mitigation measures are greatly recommended, the risk of danger cannot be eliminated. Unlike the system of the world, the saving grace of the Lord is guaranteed to last for ever, as long as dwelling in the provided secret place is not compromised. The world could only boost of this kind of unrestricted salvation during the millenium reign of Christ. Being limited by personal will, the only disclaimer to God's protection, eternal salvation is completely different from eternal security. Only those that dwell in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Until the advent of voice recorder, spoken words lack the necessary commitment on the speaker. Evidences were built on at least two or three witnesses, preferably with higher authority included. And promises require the swearing of an oath, in order to become biding on the issuer of the oath. Being the highest in power and authority, the Almighty God establishes the concept of oath with reference to His promise. God and His promise are two unchangeable entities that seals His commitments with His people. As the Promise of God, Jesus came and broke the veil of partition; throwing open the access to the presence of God. All the promises of God have been consistent; none has ever failed. Those who believe the promises of God may need patience while waiting for the performance of His words, the Promise is life and hope; He never failed and will not fail anyone whose confidence remain consistent. Have you ever submitted to the will of an authority, but later felt like you are on your own during the implementation of that will? When all, including the one at the centre of the authority, disowned or withdraw their supports for any course of action; the actor's decision to continue with the course will require urgent review. True obedience is therefore far from "call and response", using the example of Jesus' submission to the will of the Father. That the Son of Man learnt obedience by His experience at the Garden of Gethsemane is quiet revealing. Irrespective of the source of the hurdles in life, achievers have great perspective of the cause of hurdles. A man without vision is obstructed by challenging circumstances; but a man of vision advances toward his goal with every circumstances. It would be great to understand the problem to every vision statement are not the hurdles, but the misunderstanding of the source of the vision. Failure of all parties to reach the same height of expectancy in every relationship often result in distrust. In times of difficulties or wilderness experience, the receiving parties may not be able to control their disappointments. Without external assistance, distrust in the relationship may lead to divorce. The same practice of divorce was experienced by the Children of Israel when they travelled for forty years in the wilderness. They have seen, heard, and tasted enough evidences about the plan of God; that Canaan land was a secured place of rest. All of them (who entered into the covenant with God in Egypt), except two, could not reach the Promise Land because of distrust. The most important aspect of every relationship is the intimacy or fellowship among parties. Above the need to provide something is the need to present self. Self has the ability to provide the comfort that cannot be found in any other thing. The time commitment invested in every fellowship is often paid off with the joy and fruitfulness in the relationship. The central theme in Paul's letter of restitution and reconciliation between Onesimus and Philemon is the request for forgiveness from Philemon, without accessing the depth of the evil in Onesimus' action. However, the letter later anchored the fruitfulness of the action plan on the fellowship between Paul and Philemon. Sacrifices are lighter with depth in fellowship. The control of a society is in the hands of those of who care for it. The question is how can our busy schedules give room for social services, like humanitarian activities, club activities, membership of non-profitable organizations, with focus on those in needs in the society? The problem is not the busy schedules; but the willingness to be part of the solution. All are created specially to respond to some special needs that flag across us in our day-to-day lifes.
