Purpose Pressing

 “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12, 14 NKJV

While personal purpose and ambitions change with time and interest, God’s purpose for each of His children never change. Unfortunately, lack of vision and revelation from God makes restrictions out of men’s personal purpose and ambitions in life. Although we often cry fouls to fellow men’s actions and inaction as agents of discomfort, discouragement, depression and disappointment, the overriding factor for human underperformance in God’s economy is the lack of vision and revelation from God. Vision and revelation from God influence every man’s marching orders. Therefore, in spite of the opposition, challenges and fellowship of suffering in the ministry of Apostle Paul, we will discover vision and revelation as the secret of his purpose pressing…”but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus”. Without a personal vision and revelation of that “which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of” anyone, everyone is bound to be driven by that which the system of this world has obviously laid of him.

Best Bride

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son .” Revelation 21 : 6 - 7 NKJV By reflecting on the best activities in the passing year 2025 and its lost privileges and opportunities, the most sincere response in the assessment of human efforts is likely to be baggage. Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful. While heaven and its promises wait, saints often walk around with their eyes dropped, shoulders lowered, and feet shackled…thinking what a joyful noise in gory?
