Triumphant Testimonies

 “Trouble and anguish have overtaken me, Yet Your commandments are my delights. The righteousness of Your testimonies is everlasting; Give me understanding, and I shall live.” Psalms 119:143-144 NKJV

For obvious reasons, not many people will readily acknowledge the rightness of trouble and anguish in life. Whereas, like the psalmist apparently submitted, the rightness of tests provides the righteousness of testimonies. The evidence of the abiding presence of God in the life and affairs of believers is fully captured when they walk through the valley of the shadow of death.  Therefore, the testimonies of God’s grace, goodness, and glory are mostly wrapped up by our seasons of trouble and anguish. Unfortunately, those who lack this gracious understanding often fall into the condemnation of sin, compromises and satanic manipulations. But, those who exalt the words of God and His commandments above the traps laced with popularity, pleasure, and prosperity are always delivered from the power of darkness and transformed into the kingdom of God’s light. And if the trial of tests is an evident prerequisite of triumphant testimonies, then the serving of the passage with trouble and anguish will always be a worthwhile expense of  God’s grace.

Best Bride

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son .” Revelation 21 : 6 - 7 NKJV By reflecting on the best activities in the passing year 2025 and its lost privileges and opportunities, the most sincere response in the assessment of human efforts is likely to be baggage. Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
