Real Rock

”“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.“ Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If everyone knows that all that flashes are not gold, perhaps all will be careful before building their life project on the sands, composted of roughage-appearing rock (i.e., rubbles, obstinacy, carelessness, and killings). After Christ’s lengthy sermon on the mount, He divided the audiences into two categories of people: builders on the real rock and builders on roughage-appearing rock. Unfortunately, it is always easier to build on rubbles, obstinacy, carelessness, and killings. And as long as many people are on the highway of this fake building lifestyle, everyone endorses the lifestyle by saying ‘it rocks!’. Whereas, nothing actually rocks in life’s ambition fabricated from disobedience to the revealed counsel of God. In the real sense, rubbles cannot replace righteousness, obstinacy cannot replace obedience, carelessness cannot replace confidence in God, and killings cannot replace the knowledge of God’s faithfulness, and favour. When life happens and a believer's faith is tested in the fire, only those who build their trust on the real rock can stand against the tides.
