Blasphemous Bishop

“But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience...to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:1-2, 5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://www.bible.com/114/tit.2.1-2,5.nkjv
Proficiency in the delivery of the gospel according to St. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John does not necessarily translate to the discipling of holy homes and sane society. Therefore, like unto Bishop Titus, the scriptures “But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine”. Invariably, the only proof of speaking sound doctrines is the discovery of the gospel according to St. great and obedient kids, virtuous and respectful wives, loving and diligent husbands, sober and sound elders, and a faithful congregation. That the word of God be not blasphemed requires much travailing in the secret place, consistent triumphing in the public space, before a possible sound speaking on the pulpit space. Unknowingly, many bishops are graded by more examiners within their sphere of influence than their target audience. Whereas, the speech of a Bishop is better judged by the admiring soundness of its disciples than the apparent soundness of his doctrines.
