Purity Prosperity
“For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings.”
Isaiah 7:16 NKJV

The pursuit of prosperity in position and property remains an inherent derivative of relevance in life and ministry. The problem is not a query on the value addition, but in a quantum of the virtue subtraction. Even the redeemed of the Lord struggles with the challenge of managing the science and principles of success, without the corruption of the heart. Position or property prosperity is good for the head; while the heart retains the priority of purity. The scriptures in Psalms appears to provide the clue when it says ”Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them”. It implies that the heart of man is the hallowed residence of God. Therefore, only the pursuit of purity is allowed in the heart that shall not chase away the presence of God. There are both the evil and the good in every opportunity for position or property prosperity. And while the head knowledge may fail to discern the difference in the quality of purity, a clean and contrite heart will tell the difference. However, only the priority in the pursuit of purity in the heart knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good.
