Wise Way
“I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; And when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. But the path of the just is as the shining light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: They know not at what they stumble.” Proverbs 4:11-12, 18-19 KJV
Just as the way to ‘Let my people go’ is unknown to Pharaoh, the narrow way is a strange narrative of a wise way to our world of artificial intelligence, social networking, and natural sophistication. Those who are exclusively taught by sciences, philosophy and psychology cannot see wisdom in the way of the cross. Notwithstanding, the Father is always standing at the door of our hearts saying “I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths”. Unfortunately, even those who claim to have established relationships with the Lord by salvation and the remission of their sins still stumble on the wicked way because their wisdom has widened the narrow way to accommodate the world and worldliness. Whereas, Jesus is the only way, not one of the ways; and only His teachings can save the heart of man from the wicked way. Therefore, anyone who mistakenly or deliberately stumbles does not need pretence or coverups. The grace of God has enabled repentance from the wicked way; what a stumbled heart needs is confession of his wicked way to obtain mercy and daily guidance on the wise way.
