Hopeful House
“And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.” Hebrews 3:5-6 NKJV
Just as the scriptures presented the superiority of Jesus Christ (as a Son over His own house) over the faithfulness of Moses (as a servant in His house), Christ demands faithfulness and holding fast to the hope in His promises to the very end. Unfortunately, as it was at the beginning, unbelief is still instrumental to believers’ loss of hope in the promises of God. Whereas, if we are truly the house formed by the words and pronouncements from the Lord, we are settled, we are steadfast, and we are steady on the revelations by His words. Therefore, believers are always who the Almighty God says they are, irrespective of the conflicting economy, state of affairs, and the corporate standards: overcomers, blessed, victorious, etc. Those who are carried away by the pronouncement of cowards would not hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
