Wholesome Works

 “Truly, in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, And from the multitude of mountains; Truly, in the Lord our God Is the salvation of Israel.” Jeremiah 3:23 NKJV

The reason why the productivity level of any state is determined by the government policies and programmes for the youth is obvious. The youth bracket carries the labour force for either usefulness or wastefulness. Therefore, the scriptural admonition for usefulness in life for any youth remains “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them (Ecclesiastes 12:1)”. Invariably, the sum total of the usefulness of human engagement in life is measured by every believer’s devotion to divine guidance. Many lords, superiors, colleagues and companions will often attempt to take the driver seat of control or manipulation in life’s affairs and devotion; the wholesome works of the King of kings and the Lord of lords subsume all imagination and manipulation of men. Truly, the all-encompassing salvation and all-round breakthrough from life’s engagements represent the net involvement of the Lord towards wholesome works; deviations and diversions into other empowerment opportunities are mostly wasteful works.

Best Bride

Honourable Honesty

  “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the Lord! ” Psalms 149 : 5 - 9 NKJV In seasons of afflictions and persecution from a culture of dishonesty, “ Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds ” appears distasteful.
