Intentional Invitation
“Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.””
Luke 17:20-21 NKJV

When the Pharisees expressed their concern about the commencement of the kingdom of God, it was obvious that they could not see the King of the kingdom in the Lord Jesus Christ. They held firmly to the promises of the coming Messiah without holding faith in the power of Christ the Messiah. It is possible for the mind and the body to be obsessed with religious observations without the intimate connection of the soul and the spirit with the righteous God for divine manifestation. Therefore, the Saviour responded to the Pharisees’ concern by saying “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you”. Obsessed observation is often frustrated by waiting to be excited by the fulfillment of the promises of the Lord. Whereas, the intentional invitation is simply PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens). It is constantly activated by faith in the promises of God to bring down the King and declare the glory of God. Where there is absolute faith in the Lord, the intentional invitation of the presence of the Lord and the fulfillment of His promises are obviously inseparable.
