Near Nesting
“Now all the captains of the forces, Johanan the son of Kareah, Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people, from the least to the greatest, came near and said to Jeremiah the prophet, “Please, let our petition be acceptable to you, and pray for us to the LORD your God, for all this remnant (since we are left but a few of many, as you can see), that the LORD your God may show us the way in which we should walk and the thing we should do.””
Jeremiah 42:1-3 NKJV

Building trust on the invisible things is the most challenging aspect of a desirable relationship with God. It is rather easier to build confidence on human intelligence than building a senseless castle in the air. Even when a religious man is compelled to desire divine counsel, he is looking for a favourable authentication of already made-up mindsets. After the remnant of the Jews in Judah realized the unfortunate devastation their nesting with strong-will has produced, they were compelled to seek the counsel of the Lord: that the LORD your God may show us the way in which we should walk and the thing we should do. Unfortunately, many believers in Christ suffer, unnecessarily, in their pursuit of strong-will in career, marriage, and the general life projects. Nesting our conviction on the fear of the unknown, rather than trusting freely on the revealed counsel of God, is dangerous and destructive. We do not need to see the good in the counsel of God before taking the leap of faith. His word says “Acquaint yourself with God, and the good will come to you”. Obviously, it is better to make saint with the invisible promises of God than to make sense with visible products of this world.
