Perpetual Peace
““Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.”
Isaiah 54:4-5 NKJV

The confusion surrounding the absence of desirable satisfaction with increase in material riches and prosperity has often established the misconception about the source of real peace. While the experience of king Solomon remains a good example of the vanity with the presence of position, prosperity, and popularity, it is still difficult to manage the shame from the absence of these necessities of life. However, the Spirit says to those who appears deprived of position (like stunted career progression, strange denial of promotion opportunities, etc), prosperity (e.g., lack of favour towards business prosperity, delay in child-bearing, financial difficulties, etc), and popularity (for instance, apparent rejection, denial of due recognition, etc), “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame”. Irrespective of the prevailing situation and circumstances in believers’ life, the presence of the Lord in heart brings undeniable peace. The material blessings can provide position, prosperity, and popularity as the benefits for the body; but a perpetual peace for the soul comes only through an uncompromising possession by the Maker (God). And this Spirit of God in the heart of man is the source of true satisfaction and real peace that passes the understanding of material prosperity.
