Presumptuous Positioning
“You also made a reservoir between the two walls For the water of the old pool. But you did not look to its Maker, Nor did you have respect for Him who fashioned it long ago. And in that day the Lord GOD of hosts Called for weeping and for mourning, For baldness and for girding with sackcloth. But instead, joy and gladness, Slaying oxen and killing sheep, Eating meat and drinking wine: “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!””
Isaiah 22:11-13 NKJV

It’s a good countdown to the dawn of a new beginning, with promising manifestation of glorious refreshments in the presence of the Lord. However, while reflecting on the experience of Jerusalem in her celebrated valley of visions, the challenge of presumptuous positioning of God’s people became a serious concern. Obviously, a decisive journey into the valley of visions can produce celebrated messages for massage therapy of all emotional and physical concerns; but it may lack a deep spiritual operation on the maladies of the soul. If a new beginning must follow a serious voyage into the mountain of the Lord, then the heart must be prepared for a great resurgence, a bit more than the body’s needs for artificial refreshments. Therefore, beyond the necessary preoccupation with the preparation of the different service items, a humble heart eagerly awaits its glorious service from the throne of grace. This would be a preferred positioning of the heart for the total package of heaven for the dawn of new beginning on the earth. Unfortunately, a presumptuous positioning in the presence of God will get nothing tangible for the anticipated new beginning.
