Heaven Hedge

 “O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.”” II Chronicles 20:12 NKJV

One of the reliable securities against market volatility is the offering of hedge funds to consumers and market operators. Unfortunately, the cost for risk management through the hedge fund derivatives is not cheap. And like almost all of life’s challenges, insecurities, and instabilities, the great multitude comprising Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir that confronted Judah during the reign of king Jehoshaphat required a huge hedge. Today, the list of huge hedges available to many people extends beyond the purchase of financial derivatives, including political or professional godfatherism, secret cults, and unionism. But the opportunity costs for almost all of these huge hedges are unfortunately damnable, including destruction and death. Whereas, heaven hedge costed king Jehoshaphat and Judah nothing: “You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you (II Chronicles 20:17)”. They stood still, watched Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir destroy themselves; and thereafter returned home with great spoils from their dead enemies. Obviously with heaven hedge, the righteous can always trust in the salvation of the Lord from the greatest of life’s threats and multitudes of conspiracies.

Peaceful Pathway

Wrangled Way

  “ Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. ” Psalms 119 : 1 - 3 NKJV There is no doubt that those who abuse the grace of God have little or no understanding of the concept of the narrow way. For  “ Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it ” ( Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬).  The narrow way cannot be widened because it is not only strait , it is extremely wrangled.
