“Why should You be like a man astonished, Like a mighty one who cannot save? But whenever the subscription of services in the account expires, the physical presence of hardware may not guarantee the flow of services. This was the cry of Jerusalem when the presence of religious rituals and all the symbols of service failed to produce the freshness of the presence of God. It is not enough to be called by the name of God; the grace of God must consistently influence the daily action of those who are called by the name of the Lord. God’s people actually cried ‘Do not leave us’ when God was apparently asking ‘Why are you leaving me?’.
