Great God
“ Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty ” Psalms 104:1 NKJV The psalmist’ proclamation of the greatness of God provokes the rhetorical question ‘How great is your God?’ . There is no doubt that the human understanding of greatness is the only light to our comprehension of the smallness or the minions in man. The moment the heart is made to grasp the fact that God is limitlessly great, he begins to take God’s commandments and the revelation of His counsels very seriously. Unfortunately, human’s placing of limits on the great God do readily promote disobedience, doubts, and discouragement in the face of life’s challenges and negative circumstances. Whereas, if we truly know that God is limitlessly great, then we would understand that His promises are limitlessly unstoppable.
