Rest Race
“ Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law, That You may give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit is dug for the wicked.” Psalms 94 : 12 - 13 NKJV Life’s race (work, relationship, partnership, career development, etc) can be full of either rest or restiveness, depending on who is always in charge. When a man’s heart is taught by his intelligence, aspirations and drives, he is bound to learn how to demonstrate mastery over the inevitable adversity in life, family, and society. Unfortunately, this restive race of life often lead many into depression, suicide, and death because the mastermind for adversity is centred on nothing good but theft, death, and destruction. However, when the scriptures say “ Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest ( Matthew 11 : 28 )”, it implies that the design of the Almighty God in life’s travesty of adversity is rest and peace with Him.
