Dead Decency
“ The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty. A man who wanders from the way of understanding Will rest in the assembly of the dead .” Proverbs 21:5, 16 NKJV The decent way of understanding or the right path to decency in life is through love and justice. Whereas, the hasty alternative route can only look attractive, the obvious end is always poverty and dead decency. The assembly of the dead brings humiliation, shame, and destruction for those who often scoff at the leading of the Spirit of God and a call to repentance. It implies that if a proud man will always be forced into compliance by the Almighty’s justice system, he can as well force himself into the inconvenient demands of diligent decency with a guaranteed peace and prosperity at the end.
