Deliberate Declaration
” I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, And I will declare Your greatness. “ Psalms 145:5-6 NKJV The power of human declarations in life is always limited by the strength of their meditation. Those who are intimidated by the powers of the principalities around them have a tenable reason for their reactions: they meditate only on the threats of these principalities. But when the psalmist said ” I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, And on Your wondrous works ”, it must be an exercise of a deliberate decision of a courageous mind against the threats of the prevailing principalities. That was the only reason why a seemingly small David could defeat the giant Goliath.
