Just like any human relationship that lacks intimacy, God is apparently frustrated by shallow regiments from callers, who derive pleasure in ‘asking’, ‘seeking’, and ‘knocking’, without the desirable patience for intimate relationship. God is more interested in our ‘dwelling in His presence’ than our ‘doing for His pleasure’.
