Trouble Time

“Saying to a tree, ‘You are my father,’ And to a stone, ‘You gave birth to me.’ For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face. Everything that appeal to the tastebuds finds approval without possible consideration of heavenly disapproval. Like Judah, we are often caught in the web of abusing our treasure times, treating them as self pleasing time. Unfortunately, a life that is focused on pleasing self - treating taste, pleasure, and affluence as god - cannot find the way to plead with God in trouble ...
