Fear Therapy
http://bible.us/psa34.9.nkjv Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. When the scripture says fear brings torment, the fear of the enemy or an assumed fiend is actually being referenced. David was overwhelmed by this slavish kind of fear when he suddenly found himself in the territory of the Philistines. But then, he remembered that even when he earlier stood before their champion, Goliath, he was not enslaved by fear; because he stood in the strength of the Lord. Whenever the Righteous remember that all the threats of the enemy amount to nothing before the Lord, it becomes easier to admit that the fear of God is the best therapy against slavish fear. Basically, the fear of the Lord delivers the Righteous from all arrows of the wicked.
