Pleading Power

Even after Jesus’ outreach was resisted in Nazareth, human minds would expect a reclining spirit to public activities or the forceful exercise of His divine power over the people. But He rather called the twelve to Himself for an empowerment with the divine auction to function. And the power of the gospel message was to preach rather than to press. Most times, the indulgence of the people into unrighteousness and sinful activities is merely a coverup from the negative pressures and the circumstances of life.
