Good Going

  “Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, “Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun; And Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go!”” Judges‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬, ‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Good missions and outreaches in life do not have a clear identifiable ribbon. Therefore, good going is mostly a risk of association with good people. When Deborah told Barak “ Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor ’”, he preferred to test the conviction of Deborah by asking her to go with him. In other words, “ If you are sure, then let’s go together ”. Unfortunately, in most of life’s projects, there are more good guesses than good going…therefore, people will prefer to wait for our breakthrough and accomplishment before accepting our proposit...
