Supreme Submission

Well, we know God’s will cannot be defeated in spite of man’s unwillingness; but it can be frustrated in man’s unwillingness to submit. Unlike Mr. Jonah, Sister Mary willfully submitted to the plan of God; and the people’s response to Jesus’ manifestation of God’s plan became “ Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You! ” But He said, “ More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” .
