Hope Deferred

As the holiday spirit rises in the air, some may be wondering how the year 2009 went without achieving the many goals set. It is easy for the mind to refuse to recognize all of God's benefits in 2009, especially in the face of some deferred (if not denied) hope. Hope deferred finds strength in constant acknowledgment of God's faithfulness in the past and present. Everyday is the product of the past and present of God's mercy and grace. The sufficiency of these heavenly resources is able to sustain all deferment in hope. Obedient children have complete hope in the faithfulness of God; thereby keeping their minds from corruption. The standard of the world does not give room for complete hope in God. To them, hope deferred have no basis in godliness. Whereas the full journey of hope is the source of strength in the quest for intimate relationship with God.
