Corrective Command
“For the commandment is a lamp, And the law a light; Reproofs of instruction are the way of life” Proverbs 6:23 NKJV If the father’s commandment is a lamp and the mother’s law is a light, does it imply that orphans are released to walk in darkness? No, only those who disapprove instruction are deprived of the corrective command in scriptural injunction. Since God is the regulator of the curriculum for corrective command, no humble soul can miss his right dispense or discharge class for instruction towards righteousness and the way of life. Unfortunately, the proud or those who often hate the reproofs of instruction stand in the way of destruction. And while the delights of the righteous are the daily meditation in the commandments of the Lord, every corrective command through their daily activities and engagements produces the best results.
