Prayer Place

  “ if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.” II Chronicles 7 : 14 - 15 NKJV “ Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place ” suggests the receipt of the reference place of prayer, fully decorated by humility. More than a go-to place or temple for prayer in the Old Testament, the believer's heart is now the temple of God - a desirable place for the worship of God through humility, honour, and holiness. Unfortunately, human invention today has hijacked the hearts and reserved the same as a proud place for hypocrisy, heresies, and hatred. God’s Glory

  “ indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. ” II Chronicles 5 : 13 - 14 NKJV It is instructive to note that God’s glory is not necessarily in the plurality of activities, but rather in the singularity of voices. When the plurality of activities is promoted, competition tears down the unity of purpose in the family, workplaces, and any community with the assembly of people.
