Free Fall
“For the people do not turn to Him who strikes them, Nor do they seek the LORD of hosts.” Isaiah 9:13 NKJV http://bible.com/114/isa.9.13.nkjv Newton’s universal law of gravitation is commonly explained away, by showing the effect of gravitation without sharing the force that initiate the fall. Likewise, man often receives strikes in almost all his daily activities, without the slightest pause to consider the cause. Although human action implies otherwise, there is actually no such thing as free Fall. Every fall is forced at the instance of a change of state. For Israel, God expected a change from their pride and arrogance when He struck the people. However, the people considered their challenges as a normal experience of a free Fall. Whereas, God is eager to correct His erring children with every strike along their ongoing preoccupation; and it is the right thing to seek the Lord for re-direction and guidance.
